Twins’ Christmas Carnival For EMC SPCA

Christmas Carnival MinaretsSubmitted by Samantha Grant

O’NEALS — My twin sister Hallie and I are throwing the first-ever carnival at Minarets High School, a  Christmas Carnival for our Senior Legacy Project. We wanted to plan an event that would incorporate what we love and decided to raise money for the Eastern Madera County SPCA (EMC SPCA). We have two dogs, Ryder and Dobby, and we rescued them both. They have changed our lives for the better.

A no-kill shelter, such as the one the EMC SPCA is preparing to build, will provide the opportunity for many dogs and cats to get loving homes. The EMC SPCA has an amazing foundation that desperately needs funding to in order to complete the project.

If you want an affordable family fun night filled with holiday cheer, come out and join us at Minarets High School from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11.

All activities will take place inside the Gym to keep you warm, and Art Club will be selling hot cocoa. Minarets Floral will be selling their Christmas Wreaths, and local vendors will be there so you can get some Christmas shopping done while supporting local!

You can come in at any time to join the festivities, with fun for all ages, including games, prize raffles, movies, bounce houses, and crafting!

Some of our raffle Items include $15 Starbucks Gift Card, $35 House of Beauty Gift Card, $50 Oakhurst Met Theater, $5 Zanders Gift Card, $25 Raley’s Gift Card, $15 Skywalk Giftcard and many more.

We are thankful for all of the donations we received and everyone that has helped us along the way. I hope to see you there!
