Sierra Foothill Garden Blogger Sue Langley hosted another workshop at True Value Hardware in Oakhurst on Sunday May 5th. The monthly workshops provide great information to local gardeners, many new to the “mountain” area which means learning new techniques and what to plant. This month’s workshop covered what plants are drought and deer resistant and was well received by the attendees. Many were surprised at the number of deer resistant plants available and were seen after the workshop browsing the well stocked garden department with their Workshop 10% coupon.
