NORTH FORK – A single-vehicle rollover on Road 200 blocked traffic for over two hours last night near the Fine Gold Creek bridge west of North Fork.
Just after 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, a Ford pickup pulling a trailer was traveling westbound on Road 200 just west of the bridge, at what was described by CHP as “an unsafe speed.”
The truck apparently drifted off the right shoulder and overturned, spilling dry concrete and debris across the roadway.
Both lanes were blocked until some of the mess could be cleared, allowing for one-lane traffic control. County Roads responded to clean up the debris and haul it away.
The driver, a man from Chowchilla, was reportedly uninjured, as were his two male passengers.
The roadway was reopened at 9:21 p.m.
