MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has scheduled additional lane closures this week on State Routes 49 and 140 in Mariposa County next week.

State Route 49
- One-way traffic control at Stockton Creek Bridge for paving from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, July 11, 2022.
- One-way traffic control from Wass Road East to Hirsch Road for free work beginning Tuesday, July 12, through Wednesday, July 13, 2022, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
State Route 140
- One-way traffic control from from Smith Road to Old Highway for slope repair and clearing from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2022.
Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction-related issues.
