MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various operations on State Routes 49 and 140 next week in Mariposa County.

Route 49
• One-way traffic control from Route 120 to Bear Valley Road for drainage work beginning Monday, May 23, through Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Route 140
• One-way traffic control at School House Road for utility work from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022.
• One-way traffic control from Briceburg Road to Bear Creek Bridge for shoulder work beginning Monday, May 23, through Tuesday, May 24, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Bear Creek Bridge to Sweetwater Creek for shoulder work from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.
Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction-related issues.
