OAKHURST – Tom McClintock, 4th District Congressman, will be hosting a town hall meeting tonight, Apr. 1, at 6 p.m. at the Oakhurst Elementary Multi-Purpose Room, 49495 Road 427 in Oakhurst.
This is an opportunity to meet your representative, ask questions and express concerns about local and regional issues.
For those who are unable to attend the Oakhurst meeting tonight, there will be another event on Tuesday, Apr. 2 at the Board of Supervisors Chamber, 5100 Bullion Street in Mariposa at 6 p.m..
Sadly I can attend neither. However, I was just thinking yesterday that someone should address our lack of jobs situation here in Oakhurst so we don’t have to go out of town to work. I am hoping that someone in attendance will ask questions about this issue.
