Tony Krizan On World War II Pilots At Mariposa Museum

MARIPOSA — The Mariposa Museum and History Center offers a Fireside Chat presentation by a local historian — one aviators and students of conflict may appreciate.

Famous World War II pilots and their aircraft are the topics of Tony Krizan’s talk at the museum on Sunday, July 15. Author and adventurer Krizan will present a slideshow featuring pilots and aircraft from Allied Nations plus those adversaries from the European and Pacific Theaters. The presentation begins at 2 p.m. and admission is free.

Krizan’s slide show introduces the audience to some of the young men who defended our nation.

“Not only were they skilled at their craft,” he explains, “they flew the aircraft designed and built by those who believed in the same cause.”

The Mariposa Museum and History Center is located at 5119 Jessie Street Mariposa, CA 95338
