BASS LAKE – Madera County District 5 Supervisor Tom Wheeler will hold the next in his series of Town Hall meetings on Thursday, Aug. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Pines Resort at Bass Lake.
Tom Wheeler’s Chief of Staff Brittany Dyer, along with a representative from Blue Ridge Services, will discuss tree mortality, followed by a presentation by Laura Norman, Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) chairperson.
There will also be updates from the U.S. Forest Service Bass Lake Ranger District, the Madera County Sheriff’s Office, and Cal Fire/Madera County Fire.
Jon Klassen, San Joaquin Valley Air Quality Control District, will discuss Air Quality Analysis; Nichole Mosqueda of Camarena Health will talk about their programs and services; and there will be a presentation from Madera County Public Works & Community Development.
As always, there will be time for questions and answers on issues of concern to the local community.
