“We will be discussing a number of district issues including the up-and-coming hotel, the court house closure, and tree mortality efforts,” says Supervisor Wheeler. “I am starting to develop the 2019 town hall format and schedule, so if you have any thoughts, feedback, or ideas please do not hesitate to reach out.”
At the Town Hall meeting on Thursday, Tom Wheeler’s Chief of Staff Brittany Dyer will discuss tree mortality, and the public will hear updates from Denise Tolmie with the U.S. Forest Service Bass Lake Ranger District, as well as the Madera County Sheriff’s Office, and Cal Fire/Madera County Fire.
Ryan Hayashi will speak on behalf of the San Joaquin Valley Air Quality Control District and there will be a presentation from Matt Treber, Madera County Community & Economic Development and also Jared Carter, Madera County Public Works.
As always, there will be time for discussion of issues of concern to the local community. Please contact Supervisor Tom Wheeler at 559.662.6050 with any questions.
