Three Bands And Catered Dinner At Squirrel Cage Spring Fling

NORTH FORK – Love is in the air this spring as Squirrel Cage Theatre Co. and the North Fork Studio present a very special Spring Fling.

Due to the snowy weather in February, the North Fork Studio’s annual Valentine Dinner & Dance had to be postponed. Not wanting to miss out on this fun event, Squirrel Cage is teaming up and combining the two fundraisers.

It’s a one night only show on Saturday, Apr. 27, at North Fork Town Hall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and a plated dinner will be served at 6 p.m.

Willow Creek Catering is preparing the delicious dinner which includes Chicken Marsala, au gratin red potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Ceasar salad and warm sourdough bread.

The vegetarian option is portabella mushroom-eggplant Marsala. Desserts will be available for purchase. Coffee and tea are included with dinner and the North Fork Boosters will provide a no-host bar.

Whiskey Creek Band – Jeff Gurule, Dave Novell, Paul Vind Martin Wallace and Ken Wood 800×427

The night’s entertainment includes the cool jazz sounds of “Sparrow,” with Amy Duke, David Novell and Jeff Gurule. Next up will be the rockabilly sounds of “The Whiskey Creek Band,” with Paul Vind, Martin Wallace, Jeff Gurule, David Novell and Ken Wood.

To wrap up the evening, enjoy the lively dance tunes of “Sundays@3,” with Josh Freeman, David Konno, Don Loweburg, Warren Cox, Jeff Gurule, Elva Gurule, Ken Wood, and Amy Duke on vocals, filling in for Maggie Berrier.

Bring your sweetheart, friends and family and dance the night away or just sit back and enjoy the music. Dan Rosenberg will be your master of ceremonies for the evening.

There will be raffle prizes drawn at intermission and be sure to wear your fancy clothes to have your picture taken.

Admission is $20 per person for adults and $10 for children 12 years and under. Tickets are available at North Fork Hardware, the Gnarly Carrot, the North Fork Library and Squirrel Cage members.

If you purchased tickets previously for the Valentine Dinner dance they will be honored at this event. If you would like to purchase tickets or get a refund go to nfstudio.org.
