Thieves Raid Vacant House In Ranchos

MADERA COUNTY – The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a brazen residential burglary in the Madera Ranchos.

A home on Avenue 15 near Road 36 was recently placed on the market, and at some point was virtually cleaned out by thieves. The owner thinks the heist happened sometime on Friday, Mar. 28 when the residence was unoccupied.

More than six thousand dollars worth of personal property was carted away.

Some of the several items removed from the house include:

Bench glider

Full dining room set – table with tile inlays and six chairs

Couch

Living room chair

Poster bed frame, mattress and box spring

Light fixtures

Curtains and rods

Pictures

49er memorabilia

The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to call either the Madera County Sheriff’s Office at 559-675-7770 or CRIME STOPPERS at 559-498-STOP.
