This photograph of a lumber mill was in the collection of Jesse Love, which is housed in the archive library of the Sierra Historical Sites Association. He was a long-time resident of the area, and once worked at the Sugar Pine lumber mill. He noted on the photo that this was not Sugar Pine, but did not know what mill it was. He speculated that it may have been at Shaver Lake.
Can anyone identify this mill for us?

Follow-up to History Mystery #80
On behalf of E Clampus Vitus Grub Gulch Chapter 41-49, I would like to thank everyone who posted comments about Narbo. We have so much more information now, thanks to you all! Thanks for all the articles and personal references. With a bit more digging and investigation, we may someday be able to place a historical monument near the site. — Dan Carrion
