The ‘Be A Santa To A Senior Program’ is Now Accepting Donations

OAKHURST — It’s that time of year again! For the last three years, the Be A Santa To A Senior Program and members of the community have been gathering items to deliver to seniors in living facilities.

This year the Oakhurst CHP and Mariposa CHP have teamed up to deliver gifts to JCF Long Term Care Facility, Oakhurst Healthcare and Wellness Centre, and Oakhurst Board and Care for the Elderly.

They are asking for the community’s help by bringing in new and unwrapped gifts for our seniors.

They are asking for socks, games, cards, dominoes, books, coloring books, pens, pencils, colored pencils, highlighters, hats, scarves, slippers, puzzles, puzzle books, blankets, robes and lotion.

They also need donations of tissue paper, gift bags, boxes, and wrapping paper.

No food or glass, please.

Donation boxes are located at:

Donations will be picked up Dec. 13 and delivered the following week to our senior residents.
