An 18 year old Fresno man was injured in a jet ski accident on Bass Lake Sunday afternoon, Aug. 26, at about 5 p.m. and had to be air-lifted to Community Medical Center.
Witnesses report that the teen was on a jet ski with 2 other people, doing donuts at a high rate of speed, when he was thrown off and injured.
The incident happen about one-half mile east of the Forks Resort. Witnesses reported seeing the teen and others in his group riding jet skis all day, “doing tricks so passengers would fall off for fun.”
A CHP helicopter was in the area when the incident occured, and was able to medevac the teen to Community Medical Center.
