Ted Lilly Golf Tournament Helps Support Badger Baseball

FRIANT — It’s perfect weather this weekend for the Ted Lilly and Badger Baseball Boosters annual golf tournament to support Yosemite High School Baseball and the Yosemite Colts Travel Baseball Team.

The Ted Lilly Golf Tournament is held this year at Eagle Springs Golf Course in Friant on Saturday, Oct. 14. The cost is $150 per player, which includes a light breakfast and a dinner auction. Contests will include a hole-in-one, closest-to-the-pin, straight-drive, and long-drive.

Ted Lilly is a YHS graduate and former Major League Baseball player who enjoyed a highly successful 15-year career, which included two nods to the MLB All-Star Game and 130 career wins. He’s also a loyal supporter of YHS and Madera County athletics programs.

For more information and to sign up, contact Jared Pierce or Mike Best of Eagle Springs Golf Course.
