BASS LAKE — Special event doesn’t even begin to describe the excitement as the Tamed Fire Dancers bring their astounding pyrotechnic abilities to the Bass Lake Water Sports Marina for Labor Day weekend. The creative fire dancers will perform at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 4 for one show only.
“Tamed Fire is just like a Hawaiian luau, only hotter,” says Tom Tuso of Bass Lake Water Sports. The event is free to attend.
Tamed Fire was established in Fresno in 2006. With more than 40 combined years’ experience in fire dancing and stage performance, the five people who comprise Tamed Fire are among the most experienced, skilled, and entertaining fire dancers the industry has to offer, they say.
Looking for something to do before then? Take heart, DJ Albert Figueroa, aka DJ Fig, will be playing music for the crowd from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on both Saturday, Sept. 3 and Sunday, Sept. 4.
What better way to celebrate the last big holiday of the summer season than to spend it on the water at Bass Lake? Check out one of the many rental options in the marina, do some shopping and dining, and then wrap it up with an incredible show on Sunday night.
