NORTH FORK – Students, teacher and parents are busy at the North Fork School this week, in preparation for a Talent Show this Friday, Feb. 1, raising funds to keep music and drama alive in their school.
Robyn Flory, Fine Arts Specialist at the school for over 20 years, says it will be an evening of many surprises.
“The acts in the show are completely generated by the students, and they are amazing!” says Mrs. Flory. “The kids will end the show with all of them singing a special number they have prepared as a gift to their school and their community.”The evening will start at 6 p.m. with a spaghetti dinner, and the show starts at 7 p.m. at Kennedy Hall at the North Fork School.
Tickets are just $5 for dinner and show, and $3 for those who wish to attend the show only.
The event is sponsored by the North Fork School Parent Teacher Group, who encourage everyone to come out and support keeping the music and drama programs alive and well at the school.
