BadgerFest 2014 Rocks Friday Night

OAKHURST – The Yosemite High School Theater will be rocking and rolling this Friday, May 9, from 7 – 9 p.m. Music will be performed by YHS students Eddie Nixon and Jordan Lawrence, along with supporting musicians Thomas Lazar and Ben Hartesveldt. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults.

Parenting Workshops Include Pizza And Childcare

OAKHURST – Thanks in part to a substantial grant, Cornerstone Family Counseling is currently offering a series of free parenting workshops at local elementary schools. Help with parenting skills, along with information surrounding the prevention of tobacco, drug and alcohol abuse, are being offered at Spring Valley, Wasuma, Rivergold, Raymond and Coarsegold Elementary schools.
