MARIPOSA – The name of a Mariposa man who apparently fell to his death in Yosemite over the weekend has been released by the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the family of Jeffery Moore, 36, contacted their office on Friday, Apr. 11, stating they were concerned about Moore’s welfare and reported him missing.

Mariposa Sheriff Warns Of Daytime Burglaries

MARIPOSA COUNTY – On Thursday, Apr. 10, the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office initiated investigation into two residential burglaries, both in Eastern Mariposa County. One occurred at a home in the Italian Creek Road area and the second in the Ponderosa Basin community.
