MARIPOSA – Peace Officers with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) Madera-Mariposa-Merced Unit have determined the cause of two recent wildfires in Mariposa. There are currently 40 engines, 18 crews, 5 dozers and 9 water tenders assigned to the incident.
