Suspect In String Of Burglaries Being Sought By Sheriff

MADERA COUNTY – The Sheriff’s Office is asking for public’s help in locating a Madera man wanted for a series of residential burglaries and drug possession.

Manuel Valdez, 30, is 5’10” tall, weighs approximately 170 pounds, has short cropped hair, and sports a close shaved moustache and beard.Manuel Valdez tatoo on right armHe also has numerous tattoos on his right arm, which include the drawing of a face with the phrase, “In memory of Freddy Lico Falcon.”

In addition to being wanted by the Sheriff’s Office, current cases implicating Valdez and filed with the District Attorney’s office include three counts of residential burglary, one count of possession of stolen property, and one count of possession of methamphetamine.

Anyone who may have information on his whereabouts is urged to call either the Madera County Sheriff’s Office at 559-675-7770, or CRIME STOPPERS at 559-498-STOP. An anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers resulting in his apprehension could be worth up a $1,000.
