Suspect Arrested And Charged In Random Highway Shootings

FRESNO — A 42-year-old suspect is in custody and charged with a string of random shootings along highways in Fresno and Madera Counties during November and December.

ABC30 is reporting that the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges of five counts of assault with a deadly weapon against Jorge Gracia of Kerman.

Ten random shootings took place between Nov. 27 and Dec. 17 — two in Madera County and eight along rural Fresno County Roads. One woman was injured.

If convicted, Gracia faces life in prison.
