Susan Hatch

Medicare specialist Susan Hatch

OAKHURST – The Oakhurst Branch Library will host Medicare specialist Susan Hatch on Saturday, Aug. 8 from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the community room. She’ll be addressing changes in Medicare as a result of new Federal legislation.

Last April 16, President Obama signed HR2. This is the so-called “doc-fix” bill that’s been in the national news over the past year. Susan will be talking about upcoming changes to Medicare and, especially, the elimination of Medicare Supplemental plans. She will focus on what Medicare enrollees can do to prepare themselves for these changes.

Susan is a renowned specialist in Medicare Supplemental insurance laws in California. She acts as an objective senior advocate and Medicare analyst. She’s also a talk radio guest expert on various Medicare topics who will answer questions about various Medicare Supplemental plans that are available, along with the “Donut Hole” impact on your health care, and how to receive prescriptions at the lowest possible price all year long.

Susan is an independent insurance agent who represents all Medicare Supplement plans for many companies. A member of the Congress of California Seniors, The National Committee to preserve Social Security and Medicare and The National Committee for the Prevention of Elder Abuse, Susan is also accredited with The Better Business Bureau.
