Susan Ann Youngquist was born on Aug. 27, 1952, in Santa Monica, Calif., and passed away on Oct. 11, 2018, at the age of 66.
Susan grew up in Southern California and moved to the Oakhurst/Bass Lake area in 1976. She was an Instructional Aide for the Bass Lake Joint Union School District for over 30 years.
She graduated from Camarillo High School in 1970 and from Moorpark College in 1973. She married her husband of 43 years, John Youngquist, on May 31, 1975.
Susan loved baseball, attending concerts and playing with her grandchildren.
She is survived by husband John; daughter Cindy (Mike); son Eric (Jen); and grandchildren Ethan, Emma and Mattias.
Services will be held on Oct. 19, 2018, at the United Methodist Church 49223 Road 426 in Oakhurst, at 11 a.m. Viewing will be at 10 a.m.
