Supervisor Wheeler Hosts Town Hall Meeting In North Fork

NORTH FORK — District 5 Supervisor Tom Wheeler will host another in his series of Town Hall meetings on Thursday, May 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the North Fork Rancheria Community Center.

On the evening’s agenda will be updates from the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, Cal Fire and Madera County Fire, the Sierra National Forest, the Sheriff’s Office and the California Highway Patrol.

There will also be a presentation from PG&E on their Community Wildfire Safety Program.

Updates on Madera County issues will be provided by Matt Treber, Director of Community and Economic Development; Jared Carter, Deputy Director of Public Works; and Monica Roath from Environmental Health.

Nichole Mosqueda will bring everyone up-to-date on the latest developments at Camarena Health.

As always, there will be time for questions and answers about issues of importance to Eastern Madera County residents.

The meeting will be held at the North Fork Rancheria Community Center, 56900 Kuhugib Road.
