2016-10-20-bass-lake-boat-rentals-leos-paddle-palooza-927x1200BASS LAKE — Looking for a special way to celebrate the weekend, with some water time included? Head over to Bass Lake on Saturday, Oct. 29 for Spooktacular Paddle Palooza activities starting at 9 a.m. It’s a day that’s designed to bring about Halloween fun for the whole family.

Bass Lake Water Sports’ Spooktacular Paddle Palooza is preparing for kayak and stand-up paddle board races, costume contests, a haunted house, music, games, food and more. If you haven’t worn a costume while in a kayak, now is your chance.

What’s also super cool is that all proceeds from the day will go to benefit the American Cancer Society and online registration is open through Oct. 27.

“Don’t want to get your toes wet?” asks Bass Lake Water Sports owner Tom Tuso. “Have no fear! You can watch the costumed participants race across the water from the deck, test your luck to win some fabulous raffle prizes, chow down on a burger or just relax and listen to some great music.”

The real prize, though, is doing good while having fun. Attendance is free. Race fees (great prices) are listed on the website, along with registration. Online registration closes Oct. 27, after that talk to Tom or anyone at Bass Lake Water Sports.
