MADERA COUNTY – A pickup truck overturned on Highway 41 early Sunday morning blocking both lanes and tying up traffic for about two hours.
Cal Fire, Madera EMS and CHP responded to the accident. The driver sustained only minor injuries and no other vehicles were involved.
The crash happened at 5:08 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, just south of Road 406 near the Rocky Cut on Highway 41, and reports of traffic backups were still coming in at 7 a.m.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by CHP.
