COARSEGOLD — A 78-year-old man was cited for drunk driving after suffering minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident that occurred around 6 p.m. Thursday night.
George Ronnie Roe, a resident of Coarsegold, reportedly was driving a 4X4 Mazda truck in the 32000 block of Shaw Lane when the incident happened.
According to the CHP report, Roe was heading southbound on Shaw Lane when he went off the road and struck a tree.
The impact of the crash resulted in significant front-end damage to the truck.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
