Sheriff’s Crime Log Through Sept. 17

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Sept. 11 to Sunday, Sept. 17 2017.

Ahwahnee vandalism
On Monday, Sept. 11 at 2:02 a.m. deputy was dispatched to the 59000 block of Road 601 regarding vandalism. Upon arrival an investigation ensued and a report was taken. Case closed due to lack of investigative leads.

Coarsegold danger to self
On Monday, Sept. 11 at 2:44 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 42000 block of Deep Forest Driveregarding a female threatening to commit suicide by pills. An adult female was placed on a mental health evaluation hold and transported to a hospital by ambulance. Case to be closed.

Oakhurst stolen vehicle recovered
On Monday, Sept. 11 at 4;3 p.m. a deputy was notified of an occupied stolen vehicle on a property located in the 50000 block of Road 426. Deputy responded to 50000 block where suspect driving the stolen vehicle was arrested. Car was recovered by the California Highway Patrol and later returned to the registered owner. Suspect was transported to the Madera County Department of Corrections. A report was written.

Oakhurst public intoxication
On Monday, Sept. 11 at 10:14 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Victoria Lane regarding a male subject yelling racial slurs at his neighbors. Upon arrival the male subject was contacted and ultimately arrested for pubic intoxication. He was transported and booked into Madera County Department of Corrections. Case closed by arrest.

Coarsegold missing juvenile
On Monday, Sept. 11 at 11:22 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 30000 block of Revis Road to locate a missing male juvenile. During the investigation the male juvenile was not located at the residence. It was also determined a female juvenile had left the location with the missing male juvenile. The female juvenile was later located and returned home. A report was written for documentation purposes and case forwarded to Madera County Juvenile Probation.

Oakhurst theft 
On Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 8:07 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-41 regarding a report of a theft. During the investigation a suspect was located, contacted and subsequently arrested. Stolen property was recovered. This case will be forwarded to the DA’s office for charges to be filed. Report written, evidence obtained and case closed by arrest.

Oakhurst public intoxication
On Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 10:23 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Junction Drive in regards to a female laying on the ground and possibly injured. Upon arrival, the female was contacted and found to be intoxicated in public. The female was placed under arrest and transported to the Madera County Department of Corrections.

Oakhurst Coroner’s report
On Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 4:25 p.m. a deputy responded to a delayed Coroner’s case with the primary physician stipulating to the decedent’s cause of death. This is a natural death case involving only a Coroner’s referral number.

North Fork vandalism
On Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 3:48 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 33000 block of Willow Creek Drive regarding vandalism to a window. There are no leads. Case to be closed.

O’Neals burglary
On Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 6:09 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Butterfield Stage Road regarding a residential burglary. Upon arrival it was determined the suspect(s) had entered the home through a side door from the garage into the residence. Photographs and evidence were collected at the scene.

Coarsegold missing juvenile
On Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 10:15 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 32000 block of Road 416 regarding a missing juvenile. Report taken for documentation. Juvenile entered into the missing juvenile person system for entry by dispatch. Refer report closed.

Oakhurst property found
On Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 10:46 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of Cinder Lane regarding found property. Property was later booked into safekeeping at the Madera County Sheriffs Department. Report for documentation purposes only.

Coarsegold narcotics arrest and release
On Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 12:37 p.m. a deputy conducted a routine traffic enforcement stop which resulted in the driver being arrested and released on narcotics violations and vehicle code violations. Forward to the DA for charges.

Oakhurst warrant citation
On Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 1:33 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-41 regarding a subject who had an outstanding warrant out of Mariposa County. The subject was cited and released. Refer to Mariposa SO for information.

Coarsegold lost wallet
On Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 4:09 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a telephonic report from the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding a lost wallet. A report was taken for documentation purposes only.

Ahwahnee multiple warrants arrest
On Thursday, Sept. 14 at 9:48 a.m. a deputy located a subject wanted out of county on several warrants at a business in the 42000 block of CA-49. The subject was arrested and booked into jail. Case to be closed.

Oakhurst fraud suspected at hotel
On Thursday, Sept. 14 at 1:30 p.m. a deputy responded to a hotel in the 40000 block of Highway 41 regarding suspected fraud being committed by a guest of the hotel. Report taken and is being forwarded to detectives.

Oakhurst theft
On Thursday, Sept. 14 at 4:23 p.m. deputies responded to the area of the 40000 block of Highway 41 for a theft report. A report was generated for this incident and later closed until further investigative leads arise.

Coarsegold warrant arrest
On Friday, Sept. 15 at 8:43 a.m. a deputy served a civil body attachment in the 30000 block of Roaring River which resulted in the subject being arrested and taken before the Madera Superior Court. Close the case.

Coarsegold altercation and warrant citation
On Friday, Sept. 15 at 9:42 a.m. a deputy responded to a business in the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding two subjects in an altercation. One subject had a warrant out of county and was cited on the warrant. Case to be closed.

Raymond traffic citation
On Saturday, Sept. 16 at 10:47 a.m. a deputy conducted a routine traffic enforcement stop in the area of Harrison / Miller which resulted in the driver being cited and released on various vehicle code violations. Forward the case to the DA for charges.

Coarsegold narcotics arrest and release
On Saturday, Sept. 16 at 2:23 p.m. a deputy conducted a routine traffic enforcement stop in the area of CA 41 / Lucky Lane which resulted in the driver being arrested and released on narcotics violations. Forward the case to the DA for charges.

Oakhurst public intoxication
On Sunday, Sept. 17 at 1:52 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Hwy 41 regarding a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival subject was contacted and taken into custody for being drunk in public. Report written and charges filed.
