CLOVIS — Sierra National Forest officials are alerting community residents and visitors of a road construction project with partial closures and delays on Minarets Road.
Road work will start this Friday, Oct. 4, and continue through Friday, Oct. 18.
There will be a traffic control plan in place to allow drivers to pass through this area safely. Drivers are requested to slow down in the construction area and beware of construction crews and equipment.
Drivers should be able to pass thru the project site with minimal delays of up to 15 minutes at a time.
On Monday, Oct. 7, due to the use of special equipment, the road will be closed from 9 to 10 a.m.
