AHWAHNEE – Oakhurst Sierra Sunrise Rotary tees up on Saturday, Sept. 24 for the Dale Miller Memorial Golf Tournament at River Creek Golf Course. It’s the 26th year Rotary has sponsored the golf tournament in this area.

Money raised will go to Oakhurst Sierra Sunrise Rotary to support local charities, say organizers.
Sponsors for the tournament include Oakhurst Sunrise Rotary, Sierra Tel, Tenaya Lodge and Silva Ford Auto Group.
Shotgun start scramble, hole in one contest, putting contests, breakfast, lunch, dinner, auction and more are all included for the $100 registration fee.
Rotary contributes to a host of causes, including generous contributions toward scholarships to graduating high school students, funding senior medical transportation, feeding the hungry, and upgrading and maintaining the Oakhurst Community Center.
Rotarians also sponsor student of the month, the Boys & Girls Club, and Children’s Museum of the Sierra.
