MADERA COUNTY — It’s National “Clear the Shelter” for the entire month of August! Starting August 9, 2022, all dogs and cats in the Madera County Animal Shelter are only $25.00 to adopt!
Call the shelter to make an appointment to find your new dog or cat today. Appointments are available Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
Open House Events will be at the culmination of the month-long event Friday, August 26, 2022, from 11 am – 3 pm and Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 10 am – 2 pm.
There will be vendors participating in the Open House Event, they will be set up in our parking lot selling their animal-related items as well as other County Departments and local groups passing out much-needed helpful information on the services they offer.
The shelter will be by appointment only until Friday, August 26th.
$10.00 Licensing fees apply for Madera County residents
