PG&E Replaces Power Lines On Highway 145

MADERA COUNTY — Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) crews will be replacing and upgrading approximately three miles of overhead power lines on Highway 145 from Highway 41 east to Road 206 this week.

Work will take place on Thursday, Sept. 8, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., and will involve ten separate PG&E work crews, comprised of approximately 50 workers.

No lane closures are anticipated, says PG&E, but drivers are asked to use caution in the area.

This project is aimed at improving reliability on a circuit serving residents of both Madera and Fresno counties, and allowing PG&E to meet expected additional electric demand in the area.
