Even though school wasn’t in session last week, the sports teams were very busy.

On Tuesday the Girls Basketball team defeated Kerman, at Kerman. The following night, the Boys Basketball team played an outstanding game and almost stole the win at Kerman, as well.

Friday, the Lady Badger Soccer team traveled to Independence High School in Bakersfield and played their playoff game. Unfortunately they lost and have finished their season.

This week looks like this:

On Tuesday, Feb. 23, the Boys Basketball team will be traveling to Coalinga for the first round of their basketball Playoffs. It should be a good game, and we have a very real chance of moving on to the next round.

Wednesday, Feb. 24 the Girls Basketball team will be playing Selma at Home. The game will start at 7 p.m. Come out and support the Lady Badgers! One quick note, no passes are accepted at playoff games, except for CIF Passes.

A couple of things coming up to be aware of for spring: Sports Physical night will be on Thursday, May 26. Also, start looking out for flyers coming out regarding the Yosemite Youth Sports Camp, held from June 13 – 16.
