OAKHURST – The Bass Lake School District (BLSD) 6th graders have an opportunity to go to Green Meadows Outdoor Science Camp at the end of the school year, and they need your help.
Round Table Pizza is hosting a BLSD Round Table Night on Tuesday, May 21, from 4 to 9 p.m., to help the kids make it to the finish line in their fundraising. They will donate 20% of sales to the cause, and take-out orders are included.
“We need another $1,200 to reach our goal,” says Nicole White, principal at Oak Creek Intermediate. “The money raised so far has come from community groups, student families and scholarships by community members, but we need a boost.”
About 70 students will be going on the 4-day, 3-night trip, and BLSD is inviting the community to stop by Round Table Pizza on May 21 to help make this fun and educational experience possible for these kids.
