MARIPOSA COUNTY —The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is scheduled to conduct the following work next week in Mariposa County:
Route 49
• One-way traffic control from Tipton-Usona Road to Stumpfield Mountain Road for roadway wash out/slip out from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
• One-way traffic control from Stumpfield Mountain Road to Delong Creek for roadway repairs from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
Route 140
• One-way traffic control from Sweetwater Creek to Savage Trading Post for tree work from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2023.
Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic
incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials, and construction related
issues.
