One Way Traffic Control On Highway 41

MADERA COUNTY — Commuters and others will want to know that delays are expected for Wednesday, Dec. 28 on SR-41, as the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has scheduled some traffic control to accommodate maintenance.

Caltrans says traffic will be reduced to one lane on SR-41 between Road 208 and Road 406 during the daytime hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. for paving maintenance operations.

Caltrans personnel will be conducting one way traffic control during this time with the use of flagging personnel through the work zone. Commuters are reminded to obey flagging personnel, stay behind pilot vehicles and pay close attention to road maintenance vehicles.

During maintenance operations, delays can last for up to 15 minutes. Commuters are encouraged to avoid this area during project work hours and use alternate routes if possible.

Caltrans thanks commuters for patience during this maintenance project and asks that drivers please be alert for maintenance personnel. Remember to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
