MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route 140 (SR-140) for maintenance and construction operations. The work schedule follows:
STATE ROUTE 140
• One-way traffic control from the beginning of the passing lane in Catheys Valley to SR 49N for pavement work. The work begins Tuesday, January 21, through Friday, January 24, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work will take place as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, equipment/material availability, and construction-related issues.
