MADERA COUNTY — If you’re traveling between the city and the foothills via Highway 41 on Wednesday, be prepared for a bit of a delay.
Caltrans crews will be working on the southbound lane of Highway 41 between Avenue 15 and Avenue 12 on Wednesday, May 8, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The work is to repair a small depression in the roadway and, to facilitate their efforts, construction crews will be conducting one-way traffic control during this time with the use of flagging personnel through the work zone.
Commuters are reminded to obey flagging personnel and pay close attention to road construction vehicles and personnel. Caltrans asks that you please allow extra time for travel or seek an alternate route to your destination.
