Oakhurst Sierra Noon Rotary Plants Tree in Honor of District Governor

OAKHURST – Oakhurst Sierra Noon Rotary Club has planted a tree in honor of their District Governor (DG), Sherry Cotta.

Sherry’s wish, as she is readying to leave her post after serving for the past year as DG is to have every Rotary club plant a tree in their community in lieu of gifts.

Oakhurst noon Rotary President Sheri Lee chose to plant the tree in front of the Sheriff Sub Station in Oakhurst. With the assistance of Western Sierra Nursery, Sheri chose a Sycamore for its beauty and ability to grow several feet per year.

Rotarian’s get it done – they ROCK!
