Oakhurst River Parkway Clean-Up Day

OAKHURST — Spring is here and that means it’s time to tidy. If you’re so inspired, mark your calendar for the Oakhurst River Parkway Cleanup, part of the Great Sierra River Cleanup — an annual event hosted this year by the Oakhurst Sierra Rotary.

Willing volunteers are invited to meet on Saturday, Mar 30, at 8 a.m. in the Oakhurst Branch Library parking lot.

Snacks, drinks, tools and bags are provided. Cleanup will be along the Fresno River, Oak Creek, and China Creek.  Everyone is invited to join with family and friends to spend time sprucing up the neighborhood for the benefit of all to enjoy.

“[The Oakhurst River Parkway] is an ecological paradise in the midst of one of the Sierra Nevada’s most active tourism and residence areas close to Yosemite National Park, Bass Lake and other recreational opportunities.”
