Oakhurst Feed And Pet Supply Is Closing Its Doors

OAKHURST – Oakhurst Feed and Pet Supply has announced on their Facebook page that they will be closing their doors at the end of the month.

Beth Trenchard and her brother Charlie Loucks teamed up with Beth’s son Daniel Trenchard to take over the business in October 2018 after previous owner Colette Goga closed the doors the month before.

The business has been around for about 50 years, but a posting yesterday on Facebook bids a sad farewell to friends and customers.

Hey friends,

We at Oakhurst Feed write this note with a heavy heart today. We are sad to say that we are going out of business at the end of May. We have worked tirelessly to keep the store afloat. Unfortunately, the time came when we had to make some tough decisions. We’ve decided that the best course of action is to close the store.

We are so sad about this, however we feel incredibly grateful to have had the time with our customers that we did. This community has been so welcoming to us, and we appreciate all the support and encouragement we’ve received.

We will be closing the doors at the end of May, but until then we will be having some major sales going on!! We appreciate you all and would love to see you again before closing, so please come by and stock up on some items!!

Everything in the store is 25% off!! (NOT including Hay, Cat food, Dog food and Feed, those are regular prices, for now). Everything else in the store is a heck of a lot cheaper for the time being! Come and get it!

And again, thank you all so much for supporting local business. We are so, so grateful.

We look forward to seeing y’all soon!!
