Oakhurst Block Party Invites Neighbors to Gather

Live music, tacos and a chance to connect with local businesses are on the agenda for Community Appreciation Night on Thursday, Sept. 17.

The free gathering will run from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Yosemite Mortgage parking lot, 40055 Highway 41. The event combines a community block party with an Oakhurst Area Chamber of Commerce mixer, and everyone is welcome.

Plans include live music by Erick Tyler, a bounce house for children and L&J Tacos, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Beer and wine will be available from the Chamber’s drink booth.

Participating businesses include Yosemite Mortgage, Summit Real Estate, Chicago Title, Realty Concepts, Clash Cafe, Yosemite Wealth and Oakhurst Ink.

The evening will also include a reopening celebration for Chicago Title at 6 p.m., according to the Chamber.

Admission is free. The listing does not specify food or drink prices.
