OACC Business Spotlight: Custom Plus Construction

Oakhurst Area Chamber of Commerce Business Spotlight

OAKHURST, CACustom Plus Construction, Inc. is an Oakhurst-based construction company specializing in the building of new homes, remodels, room additions and pools, which is owned and operated by Clay Bradford, License No. 672255.

When did you start your business? In June of 1993.

Where is it located and what area do you service? It is located at 42038 Empty Creek Rd, Oakhurst, on the north side of Highway 41 between El Cid’s and the Golden Chain Theater. We service Oakhurst, Coarsegold, Northfork, Bass Lake, Mariposa, Raymond, (basically all of the mountain areas including Shaver Lake side) Madera, Fresno, Clovis, and the Pismo/Grover Beach areas.

What service(s) do you provide? New custom home builder, remodels, additions, home improvement, and consultation to owner builders (construction consulting).

What makes your business special?  My wife, Michelle Bradford, has her real estate license and is available to help our customers find a vacant lot for me to build their Custom home on, or if our customers are looking for an existing home to fix up, she finds the fixer upper, and I “fix ‘er up.” We always strive to provide personalized customer service by always answering my phone, or I will return a call within 24 hours. I’m not on “mountain time.” I provide quality service, am a long-time business owner and professional who does what I say what I’m going to do. My motto is “Do It Right Or Don’t Do It At All.”

What is your typical client/customer? Extremely detail oriented, picky and quality-driven.
