North Fork Students Tackle Shakespeare

Written by Robyn Flory

NORTH FORK – Shakespeare can be challenging for anyone, and the kids at North Fork School tackled every aspect of their performance, memorizing lines, learning backstage “tech” cues and dancing!

On Friday, May 17, 49 students in 6th and 7th grade performed scenes from “Julius Caesar,” “A Midsummer’s Night Dream,” and a composite of “Macbeth.”

The evening began with a dinner provided by the 6th and 7th grade parents, and after all the performances, the evening concluded with a Renaissance Dance performed by all the 7th graders.

Everyone did such an outstanding job working together to put on a performance like this, and it was so much fun watching so much talent “blooming” with these young people!

I am so proud of each and every one of them!
