North Fork School Welcomes New Staff Members

NORTH FORK – After the retirement of several teachers at the end of the 2013-14 school year, the North Fork School will be welcoming three new teachers this fall.

Katie Kelly joins the staff as the 7th / 8th grade Math and Science teacher. She comes from Mariposa and lives in North Fork with her family. Husband Bob teaches at Minarets.

Maree Corrigan will be teaching a combo 2nd / 3rd grade class. She is returning to North Fork School after living in southern California for a few years.

Katie (Thrapp) Bethune will be joining the staff as the 4th grade teacher. A former North Fork student, she will be teaching in the same classroom where her mother taught for so many years. Husband Steve will be teaching at Spring Valley.

“I am so very happy to welcome all of them to our North Fork family, along with the talents they bring,” says principal Gail Fain. “Say hello and welcome when you see them.”
