North Fork Library Summer Reading Programs

NORTH FORK – Keep your kids reading through the summer months by involving them in the Summer Reading Program at their local library.

The theme for the 2013 Summer Reading Program is “Reading Is So Delicious.”

The program runs from June through July and features special events and guests at each library. This year, the library has also added a teen program for 6th – 12th graders.The Summer Reading Program in North Fork is Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m. beginning on June 12, and running through July 24, for kids 4 years old through 5th grade.

Program Schedule

June 12 – Illustration Fun with Steve Riley
June 19 – Magician Chris Lopez
June 26 – Monterey Marine Mammals!
July 3 – NO PROGRAM
July 10 – VEG Strong -Vigorously Eat to Grow Strong
July 17 – Extreme Science Magic
July 24 – A Berry Delicious Reading by Karen Adler

This year, the library has added a teen program for 6th – 12th graders. The Teen Program starts at 4 p.m. on Wednesdays.

June 26 – Steampunk Designs with Diana Polly
July 3 – NO PROGRAM
July 10, 17, & 24 – Become a Playwright with Carol Wolf
