North Fork Celebrates The Library’s Sarah Lingenfelter

Sarah LingenfelterNORTH FORK — Anyone who has ever frequented the North Fork Library knows Sarah. And anyone who knows Sarah will want to be at the library this Friday at 3:30 p.m. to celebrate her contributions to the community and her upcoming wedding.

“We want to give the community of North Fork the chance to celebrate Sarah and all she does for our community and the Library,” says Library Assistant Crystal Pike. “Since she knows so many people this gives them the chance to show their love and appreciation.”

There will be musical entertainment, food and cake. Anyone who wishes is also invited to put a card in the basket, perhaps with a cash gift to help to raise funds for the honeymoon.

Crystal says this is not a wedding shower, but rather a bridal celebration.

“There are lots of people that she knows that she couldn’t invite to the wedding, and we’ve had some patrons expressing the desire to throw some kind of event for her celebrating the fact she’s getting married.”

Sarah Lingenfelter is the Branch Manager at the North Fork Library, and is getting married on Sept. 10. Crystal will be a bridesmaid, and is working hard getting the party together.

“It’s been crazy fun!” she says.

See you at the Library on Friday, Aug. 5, at 3:30 p.m., in beautiful downtown North Fork.
