NORTH FORK — Welcome the Spring Equinox with a special celebration at the North Fork Studio on Saturday, Mar. 19, from 6 – 9 p.m.
“Fire In The Belly” celebrates creative expressions by women, and features arts, crafts, music and dancing throughout the evening.
Events include:
6:15 pm – Belly Dancing by Tina Vosburg and her troupe
6:30 pm – Poetry and Prose reading by Ruth Rosenthal
6:45 pm – Voices of the Sierra Threshold Choir
7:00 pm – Jazz tunes by Jennifer Schwarzenbach
7:30 pm – Special Guest: Old-time original music by Amber Cross
8:30 pm – drumming circle/dancing/closing.
This is a special fundraising event to benefit The North Fork Studio, located downtown across from the Library.
