North Fork Boy Scout Christmas Tree Lot Sells Out

NORTH FORK — There is good news and bad news from the Scouts of Troop 357 in North Fork.

The good news is that their Christmas Tree sale at the North Fork Library parking lot was a huge success.

The bad news is that they had so many customers, they are now sold completely out.

The Scouts had just two trees when they opened the lot at 9 a.m. on Saturday, and by 10:30 a.m., those last two trees were gone.

Scoutmaster Dave Smith would like thank everyone who came to purchase a tree from the Scouts.

“We appreciate your business, and are sorry we were unable to provide more trees this year,” says Smith, who thinks the increasing prices being charged for Christmas trees elsewhere, and getting the word out on Sierra News Online brought more business their way. (Thank you Dave!)

If you have a young person interested in Scouting, please call Dave at 559-877-2186 or Cubmaster Rosie Ahrens at 559-287-0463.
